The impact of satellite televison on the Asian-Indian community in the U.S.
DOCUMENTARY:
"My father's India" (Working title):
A documentary about an Indian woman's return to India after the death of her
father. The film explores how she stays connected to India. Since she was
born and brought up in the U.S., the film explores how the Indian woman maintains
her connection to India through the Indian cultural values she learned from her
father and mother.
- Funding- grant from American University awarded to co-producer Prof. Leena Jayaswal in 2004.
